Evaluation

For my project I have done 3 units of 4 photos, I have put them into groups labeled: unit 1- close up on nature unit 2- far back on nature and unit 3- people I took these photos because I find these pictures interesting to take and look at most photos the main subject is nature
I took the pictures for nature because I wanted more interesting pictures to do with outdoors and plants.
The focus of the photos mainly on the plants or the body parts of the person I used for the project.
Line and the shape of the picture is good because I kept the camera landscape and perfectly still so that I got the right angle of the picture, also the color’s contrast as they are the main subject.
The pictures could easily be improved if they had a better background or in some pictures you can see the shadow of me leaning over so taking the picture in a different time of day or angle could of worked better.
My favorite 4 pictures are the ones I used for my subject one because I like close up shot pictures as the main feature is more clear to see than the others I took.
Compared to professional photos these pictures aren’t very good because professional ones are obviously took by professionals and the pictures have been edited a lot more but also they have the advantage to see a lot more nature than I do as they can go all over the world and I can only be restricted to caldicot.
I showed the pictures to my friend Cameron smith, he liked the use of the close up nature shots I used but didn’t like my people because he thought they were a bit boring and didn’t like that there was nothing really going on but he enjoyed the contrasting colors on the close up nature shots.
I also showed it to another friend Michael newman he says pretty much the same thing for the pictures, he likes the close up nature pictures as it has the best main feature in them and also dislikes the far away nature shots as they are too similar too the close up ones.
